Silver and Gold

This special concert featuring Canta Libre’s radiant mainstays (founder and flutist Sally Shorrock and harpist Karen Lindquist) will provide a unique opportunity to revel in the wealth of repertoire composed for this timeless and also visually stunning duo instrumental combination. A range composers whose lives sprang three centuries will be among those on the program including  J.S. Bach, the impressionist Maurice Ravel (internationally regarded in the 1920s and '30s  as France's greatest living composer) and the 20th century American pianist, educator, and composer Vincent  Persichetti.
