Canta Libre is a wonderfully unique chamber ensemble of harp, flute and three strings – a combination popular with French composers during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The ensemble specializes in ravishing repertoire that will draw you in to the music and cultural atmosphere of turn-of-the-century Paris. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Sally Shorrock, flute; Bradley Bosenbeck, violin; Veronica Salas, viola; Bernard Tamosaitis, cello; Karen Lindquist, harp will also perform on ORCMA’s Rock to Bach Fundraising Dinner on March 9, 2024. IRSC’s Hallstrom Planetarium opened to the public in 1993, and offers sky shows about the stars, constellations and all of the amazing things to be found in the Universe. The facility also is used for college student instruction, field trips for K – 12 schools and other community groups.
